    --------
Al Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmat Allah

I have completed, by the Grace of Allah, a translation of Shaykh Ihsan Al-'Utaibi's compilation of "100 Weak and Fabricated Traditions attributed to Prophet Mohammed –peace be upon him- famous among Khatibs and Speakers

Now many of these traditions are very common also among English khatibs and websites, and many believe them to be authentic. But what surprised me even more is that while searching for some of them in English I found out that some are attributed to Bukhari or to Muslim, or both. So, if you do a search for hadith (# 4) in this list, for example, you will find that a majority of the websites attribute it to Bukhari wa laa 7awla wa la Quata Illa Billah

This is why I hoped that translating these 100 hadith would be beneficial, In Sha Allah

Some things to point out i.e. what I based my translations on

First, I tried to keep the translation consistent with what is already available online and is most popular

Secondly, when more then one translation are widely available on the web I either used the one that is more descriptive (has more words), or combined them both by adding the other translation between parenthesis ex. # 51

Thirdly, Regarding the traditions that are mentioned in Ihyaa Uloom Al Din (since this book has been widely translated into English), I used the translation mentioned in one of the translations of the book ex. #1

Forthly, I also used islamqa.com as a source for translation ex. # 62

Lastly, if I cannot find the hadith online, I would do the translation on my own ex. # 49

A final note: Hadith # 40 & 41 were the same, so Shaykh Al-'Utaibi (may Allah preserve him) suggested another hadith for # 41

I will also attach them both in word and pdf format, where even the colors Shaykh Ihsan used are preserved

    Jazakum Allah Khair
